Nigerian singer, Wizkid has spoken about the allegations of fraud and breach of agreement leveled against him by an event organizer based in the Northern part of Nigeria.

 

It would be recalled that StarBoi CEO,Wizkid was accused of N8.9 million fraud after failing to show up for the event after payment. His management have responded to the allegations which went viral on the social media.

The statement reads:

“Our attention at List Entertainment, the official management company representing Mr. Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid, was drawn to the alleged “cancelation of a student event” story which made rounds the internet sometime this week. First we wish to clearly state that the artist in question, Wizkid, has great love for his fans especially the young minds which are mostly students and youths in general. Wizkid knows that without these young minds there will be no Wizkid, as they have been his strong backbone & supporters since the day one of his glorious career. Hence his constant love to perform for his young fans especially at free events, which he is massively lining up after the release of his forth coming album.
Regarding the issue at hand, we have decided not to join issues or trade words with anyone, since the “Original” event organizer whom we have been dealing with has responded and cleared the air on this issue.
