Sprint
king Usain Bolt believes he is the answer to Manchester United's
problems, and has made claims that he would be given a five-year
contract were he to undergo a trial at Old Trafford.
Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, who is regarded as the fastest
person ever and the first man to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres
world records, and has not been shy about his ambitions to play for EPL
club, Manchester United, has explained just why he deserves a chance.
The Man Utd fan could add to his six Olympic gold medals in Rio de
Janeiro next year but he is still keen to play for his dear football
club.
Bolt who is expected to bring the curtain down on a phenomenal
athletics career at the 2016 Olympics, is deperately in need of a fresh
challenge.
Convinced he could do a job for coach Louis van Gaal, Bolt told MUTV:
"In my mind I think I should do a trial and see if they would
say ‘Alright, come on in’ or if they would say ‘No, you are not any
good’. I think I would be pretty good because I am fit, I am quick, I
can control the ball and I understand all of the play.
So I think if I do a trial then they would say, 'You know what,
here is a contract for five years! You are 30 years old, here's a
five-year contract. Let's just do it!'," he joked.
